“Tofu” Chinese Food

Tofu is a highly versatile and nutritious food that is made from soy. The first step in making tofu is soaking the soybeans and extracting the soy milk. The soy curds are then processed into tofu in the desired form, primarily in custard-like blocks.

A variety of textures may be produced, depending on the water content. The health benefits of tofu are extensive. It is gluten-free and low in calories. Tofu and Fish Hot Pot is savory and flavorful. It’s called hot pot because in the restaurants they serve it in a heated clay pot.
